We offer a truly unique, Collie only farm stay experience. Your Collie is not in a kennel, but living the farm life with room to roam, structure, and plenty of personal care. Collie Farm Stays is thoughtfully tailored just for Collies, giving you complete peace of mind.

Every stay includes unforgettable farm adventures across our 55 acres, from sheep herding experiences and swims in our three dams to river walks and time spent meeting the animals that call the farm home, including sheep, alpacas, chickens and ducks. It is a Collie's paradise, where they can explore, play, and do what they were born to do.

Five star farmhouse

Luxury farmhouse comfort, summer and winter.

Our farmhouse is a luxury, styled home built for comfort - keeping your Collie cosy and content in every season. A warm fireplace in winter, air conditioning through summer, soft beds and all the comforts of home.

We mirror what your Collie knows at home. If they sleep in a crate at home, we can crate them here. If they have their own bed, we set it up. If they are allowed on the couch, they can settle that way here too.

Rest is part of the program. A fulfilled Collie needs recovery, calm and sleep after a full day on the farm.

Our farm program

Eat. Sleep. Play.

We give every Collie a holiday and adventure like no other - with food, rest and activity all tailored to their age, traits and abilities. We monitor calories and exercise and balance meals to suit.

Eat

Two hearty meals a day of premium grain free food - high in protein and easy on the tummy - plus healthy homemade treats for training along the way.

Sleep

We match your Collie's sleep setup from home - their own bed, a favourite toy, or a crate if they prefer it - with deluxe calming beds for those who love to live in the lap of luxury.

Play

Group play and agility, paddock runs and hikes, sheepdog training for those who take to it, and dam swims to cool off - balanced with proper downtime to recover.

The promise that makes it real

A maximum of four Collies.

We cater for a maximum of four Collies at a time, so every stay is tailored and unique - and every Collie is genuinely known, supervised and cared for as an individual.

(Plus Molly and Missy, of course.)

Why we do sheep herding

It's what they were born to do.

Border Collies were bred to move, think and work. Watching a Collie switch on and work the sheep is the clearest difference between a farm stay and any other boarding - and it's the part our trainers love most.

It's always your choice. Some Collies work, some watch, some simply enjoy being on a real farm. Herding is completely optional, managed carefully and respectfully for the Collies and the sheep alike.

Is this right for my Collie?

Every Collie is welcome here.

Nervous, senior, young or full of drive - we meet each Collie where they're at, and tailor the day to them.

Nervous & rescue Collies

We go slow, build trust, and keep the pack small and calm. Many arrive shy and are settled by the fire within days.

Senior Collies

No pressure to keep up. Older Collies are free to potter, rest and enjoy the farm at their own gentle pace.

Young & high drive

Proper outlets for big energy - herding, water, training and purposeful play - so they come home fulfilled, not wound up.

Pups

Pups are welcome from six months of age. For everyone's comfort and safety, boys need to be neutered before they come to stay.

For local Collies
